Prototype (F-62). This is what a player reaches when they tap "Streaming this match? Tap here" in their "you're up" text (F-29). For Jon to react to β thinking way outside the box on what a player stream could be.
β LIVE
Your match, streamed right π±
Everyone props a phone on a chair and hopes. This turns that into a real broadcast β with the live score on screen β in one tap.
First: don't get muted π
The honest part nobody tells you.
β The risk is real: Facebook can pull your live video down β or mute it β over background music. Their system listens in real time and acts automatically. So players are right to worry.
β οΈ But the disclaimer doesn't save you. Saying "I don't own the rights to this music" gives you no license β Meta says so outright, and it won't stop the takedown. That part is folklore.
Only two things actually protect your stream:
Keep the bar's music out of your audio β point the phone's mic away from the speakers, or ask the hall to turn the nearest one down. Let the sound be the room + your commentary (clacking balls and trash talk never get flagged). This is why a quiet-room stream survives with no disclaimer at all.
Or use licensed audio β Facebook gives creators a free Sound Collection of cleared music youβre allowed to use. (Donβt lay your own recorded tracks over it β thatβs exactly what triggers the mute.)

Or just share it with family π not marketing β personal
Not everyone's going live for the world. Lots of players just want mom, their spouse, the kids to watch. This is a warmer, private share β a link that shows your path through the bracket and your live score, so loved ones can follow along and cheer. Text it, DM it, drop it in the family group chat.

Sharing isn't only "watch me." A player should be able to pass along the whole bracket or the tournament itself β to a friend who might come play, or to anyone following along. Tap to copy the link.

Put the LIVE SCORE on your stream the differentiator
No other player's phone-stream has this. As the match is scored here, a scoreboard overlay updates on your broadcast β player names, FargoRates, the race, the current score β straight from the bracket.
The big idea: every phone is a camera for the event π₯
This is how we're different β turn a dozen random streams into the event's own broadcast network.
π‘
When you go live, the TD can feature your stream on the big-screen board (/live) and the spectator page β so the whole room has camera angles on every table, with zero cost to run.
π
Every viewer who stumbles on your stream is one tap from registering for the next tournament β so every player who streams is quietly marketing the series.
β
After the match, your best rack becomes a shareable highlight card (ties into the post-event recap) β more reach, more sign-ups.
What's real vs. prototype: the don't-get-muted guidance, the caption and the courtesy card are ready to use today. The live-score overlay rides on match scoring (F-32) going live; featuring player streams on the big board and the register-from-stream link ride on F-16 + F-55. Tell me on the Brain dump which of these is worth building first.
